How to find a specific event in the Control Panel

Locate a specific order, stock update, return, or refund in the Control Panel using search and filters.

Search within a stream

  1. Open the Control Panel and go to Streams.

  2. Click the stream name then click on the Events icon.

  3. Use the search bar to search by order number, SKU, or other source reference.

  4. Use the status filter to narrow to Failed, Pending, or another specific status.

  5. Use the date filter to narrow to the relevant time window.

Search across all streams

  1. Use the global event list.

  2. Enter the order number or other reference.

  3. Results will show matching events across all streams.

Available filters

On the events list you can search by event name and filter by: status, stream, source system, destination system, created date range. Events are listed newest first. Filtering by job ID is useful when you want every event from one particular run.

Exporting events

You can select events and export the list as an Excel file matching the on-screen table β€” useful for reconciliations or for sharing a failure list with HC.

Tips for finding events

  • The source reference shown in the event list is the order number or identifier from the source system. If your order numbers contain a prefix in one system but not another, try searching with and without the prefix.

  • Expand your date range if the event does not appear in the default view.

If you still cannot find the event

If the event does not appear anywhere in the Control Panel, it may not have reached HC at all. This means the source system did not send a webhook or trigger an event. Go to An event hasn't arrived in the destination system for further steps.
