Event status definitions

A complete reference for every status an event can have in the Control Panel.

Status reference

Status	What it means	Action needed?
OK	The event completed successfully. Data was delivered to the destination.	None
Failed	The event could not be processed. The error detail is in the event view.	Yes — investigate and fix, or escalate to HC
Processing	The event is currently being processed.	None — unless it remains in this state for more than a few minutes
Aborted	The event met a configured rule that excluded it from processing (e.g. a test order).	Only if you believe the event should have been processed
Error	The event could not be transformed. The error detail is in the event view.	Yes — investigate and fix, or escalate to HC

Failed — go to I received an alert — what now? or How to fix and resend a failed event.

Processing for too long — go to An event hasn't arrived in the destination system.

Aborted unexpectedly — open the event to see which rule caused the skip, then contact HC if the skip was not intended.

Jobs — single runs of a stream — have their own statuses:

Pending — the job is scheduled to run but has not started yet.

Processing — the job is running and creating events.

Finished — the job completed and all of its events processed successfully.

Finished with issues — the job completed, but some of its events failed or saw issues.

Failed — the job itself failed in the source system; usually no events were created at all.
